Austin Bulldog Supporters

Our work is funded entirely through contributions from community members and foundations. Since launching the website in April 2010 our fundraising efforts have always taken a back seat to doing investigative reporting that makes a difference.

The total amount of money we have raised each year, shown below, has come from donors who recognized the value of our reporting and made a personal commitment to supporting it.

Total Yearly Contributions

2009 $10,600

2010 $25,560

2011 $32,723

2012 $41,740

2013 $24,966

2014 $25,765

2015 $14,375

2016 $13,139

2017 $11,406 through October 31

The Austin Bulldog has no hidden agendas, no invisible people behind the curtain to influence what we do or do not investigate or how our coverage may have been influenced. To that end, the names of all contributors are gratefully acknowledged and permanently recognized on this website. While contributors may request anonymity, we much prefer to list our donors by name so that there can be no question of the source of funds that make our work possible.

We wish to thank the following foundations and individuals for their generous contributions to support our independent investigative reporting the public interest. To facilitate inspection, donors are listed alphabetically by last name. The names of sustaining donors, who are currently making a regular monthly contribution, are marked in green type.

The cumulative dollar amount shown below for each donor’s contributions cover a period of more than seven and a half years, from launching April 1, 2010, through October 31, 2017.
